RFID"™ solutions for RFID System Integrators,
Distributors, and End Users. By providing intuitive, easy
to implement products that don't require programming, we
enable our customers to reduce both the time and the cost
of fielding RFID systems.
Where Do Our Solutions
Fit?
Our solutions target the System Integrator
who is implementing small to medium scale RFID Mandate and
Closed-loop applications and the RFID Distributors who provide
turnkey solutions for these types of applications. Our entire
focus is on reducing the cost and time of deployment by removing
the need to provide custom programming for each and every RFID
project. We focus on developing products that are easy enough
to use and comprehensive enough in scope that a Field Engineer
is able to carry out the installation process exclusively through
the configuration parameters present in our tool. Our constant
aim is to reduce the cost and time of RFID deployment so that
our customers can both expand their businesses and increase
their margins.
You Really Claim
that I Won't Have to Do Any Custom Programming?
It depends on the type of projects that you
are involved in. There are really three different types of
projects.
1. Our Senetric Configurator solves 100%
of the implementation. The Senetric Configurator
currently enables field engineers to configure Intermec's
IF5 Smart Reader and send the tag read information back
to a database or flat file. The Configurator will handle
this whole turnkey application, including the installation
and configuration of the database. Solutions where this will
work include pilot projects, closed-loop applications with
limited enterprise visibility and mandated conveyer-line
implementations. Most of our current clients fall into this
category.
2. Our Configurator solves
an important part of the problem. Our tool always provides the ability
to configure the Smart Reader and provide higher level IO
capabilities. If a Smart Reader is in the mix then our tool
can always be used as an integral part of the solution. In
addition, we provide consulting services to ensure that our
clients receive the most cost effective RFID solution.
3. Our Configurator is
appropriate. We
don't pretend to solve large-scale enterprise-wide problems
that require a team of consultants. For those types of systems
we refer you to other companies more suited to the task, such
as our partner IBM.
Where We Are Going?
By working closely with our customers, we
continue to expand the product to encompass more devices (readers,
printers, controllers), more services (filtering, alerts, reporting),
and more enterprise back-end connections (IBM Premise Server).
We have partnered with IBM to package some of their advanced
solutions for our clients at our clients' price points. We'd
